Unlike the earlier pages, these later tubes are now provided as simple zip files which you must extract to your Paint Shop Pro tubes folder, rather than self extracting ones that place the files in the correct folder for you. The reasons for this are partly that users may wish to put them in Paint Shop Pro 5 or 6 tube folders, and partly because of the reluctance of users to download exe files, because of the risk of viruses. The .exe files on the other pages are perfectly safe. They are only self extracting zip files, but in response to public caution I have discontinued using them.

All the samples of tube elements are shown at 100% size, except the rope samples. The lettering in each rope sample gives the size percentage used in the sample.

To hide it, add a layer above the one on which you have used the rope. Start where the rope ends and draw a short piece going back across the last part of your rope in the opposite direction. Select the cut end of this piece on its layer and delete it. Merge the two layers. The 'cut edge' will now not be seen, and your rope will have a normal end. Please also note that I have had to use smaller settings for the thicker ropes in these samples, in order to fit them in the page, so paradoxically, the thick ropes appear in the illustrations to be thinner than the thin ones.
