I find the shape of the Sydney Opera House fascinating. The clip art image in the picture below was the basis of both of these pictures. The one above was made very similarly to the images on page 4, but I darkened the parts of the image which were not to have Blade Pro applied. This again uses Nightingail's presets.

The lower image was made by making a mask, saving it to the alpha channel, and retrieving it whenever the selection had been expanded, contracted or feathered too much. I applied a whole series of effects to this image, on various layers, hot wax, erode, layer blending, emboss, colourizing, and various others, in no particular order, simply piling them on top of one another to see what happened. Whenever the image threatened to become dull I applied a brightly coloured hot wax and used the colour adjustment to make it shiny again. This was so much a 'doodle' that I really have no idea what combination of effects led to the final image.
