PLAYING WITH BLADE PRO

These effects were achieved using Blade Pro with Photo Impact 4. The Alhambra file was used as the texture file in Blade Pro. The three copies on the left were all done with Blade Pro alone, just playing around with the settings to get different effects. The three on the right show Photo Impact 4 effects and filters applied to the top left sample.

The top right was given a metallic finish and a rounded bevel. The middle one has the rain3 filter from the particle filters applied. For the third one, the object was given a narrow bevel in the button designer, the colour was adjusted to more red using Format/Brightness and Colour, converted to a path object, 3d trim, and made transparent. The small circle is there to demonstrate the transparency, and to show that the texture of one object, once established as the path tool colour, can be used to draw other filled shapes.

The frame is a Photo Impact 4 3d frame with a wooden texture (wood3 from the natural textures gallery).
