Autumn in the woods
In autumn, when most of the wild flowers have vanished from the woods, the fly agaric mushrooms appear under the trees. They are as striking and beautiful as flowers, but very poisonous. The ever present squirrels enjoy the acorns that fall under the trees. They will also run up the trees and pull acorns off the branches. The ones they drop or shake off the trees often land on people walking in the woods - it can be like being under bombardment.

A summer treat
This was an exercise in creating a 3d sundae, with the garden added to give the sundae a context and make a pleasant picture.
