A mixture of methods are on this page. Caesar and Nero are a wood engraving from a photograph, following my Paint Shop Pro tutorial. The two roses are gold inlaid marble and stained glass, again made in Paint Shop Pro.
This rose was a silhouette image, like a stencil, and I made the outlines for the lead using Hoods' Quick Tip on Mask Tracing.
